1. Information We Collect

ARC is designed for focus, time management, and digital wellbeing. We do not require you to create an account or sign in. The App may access and process the following categories of data:

Screen Time Data (on-device only)

  • Application tokens provided by Apple’s FamilyControls API when you select apps or categories to manage.
  • Aggregated usage durations (for example, time spent on selected apps) from Apple’s DeviceActivity framework.
  • Shield or restriction state (whether an app is temporarily blocked or unlocked).

App Analytics (optional, anonymized)

  • Basic crash reports and performance metrics provided by Apple or the operating system.
  • No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.

We do not collect, transmit, or store sensitive usage data on our servers. All Screen Time data remains on your device unless you explicitly share diagnostic information with Apple.

2. How Information Is Used

All Screen Time data stays local to your device and is used solely to:

  • Display usage statistics inside the app.
  • Enforce focus timers and app restrictions you select.
  • Restore your settings if the app is reopened.

Crash and performance logs, if enabled through iOS, may be used to improve stability. These logs do not contain personal identifiers or app usage details.

3. Data Sharing

  • No Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, or share your Screen Time data with advertisers or analytics providers.
  • No Developer Access: Our team cannot see which apps you’ve selected, your usage durations, or restrictions.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose minimal information only if required by law.

4. Data Security

  • All Screen Time data is stored in the app’s sandbox, protected by iOS security architecture.
  • No Screen Time data is ever transmitted off-device.
  • Any optional diagnostic logs are transmitted securely using Apple’s encrypted reporting systems.

5. Children’s Privacy

ARC is intended for individuals managing their own device usage. For Family Sharing setups, parents or guardians should enable and control access through iOS. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Your Choices

  • You can reset or remove app selections at any time within ARC.
  • You can revoke Screen Time permissions in Settings ▸ Screen Time.
  • You may delete the app to erase all locally stored data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
